A Safe Haven for Education and Growth
Having experienced the hardships of traveling long distances to attend school, Cyusa Ian Berulo knows firsthand the challenges children face, especially during heavy rains that make travel dangerous or even impossible. Hazardous river crossings were a constant risk, and many parents hesitated to send their children to distant schools due to these dangers and their own financial struggles.
In response to these challenges, the founder initiated the construction of Berulo Village. This project is meant to provide a safe and supportive environment where children can receive education without the need for long and treacherous journeys. The village offers not only shelter and medical care but also essential life skills education, including saving and financial literacy. A safe haven born out of necessity. With a vision to eliminate the dangers and hardships faced by children traveling long distances to school.

Safe Learning Environment
Each room reflects resilience, sacrifice, and an enduring belief in the future of children who will learn, grow, and feel safe within those walls.
The site includes a prepared field for recreation, development, and community engagement — embracing education and emotional well-being.
The project is implemented in carefully planned phases. Every milestone is achieved through determination and personal dedication — building steadily toward the full realization of the safe haven. This journey embodies courage, patience, and a long-term commitment to sustainable impact; the foundation already laid is a testament to what is possible when purpose meets perseverance.
Guided by the conviction that every child deserves protection, dignity, and opportunity, the founder embarked on this journey with unwavering commitment. By July 2023, seven rooms had been constructed on site — modest in size and awaiting roofing, but powerful symbols of vision translated into action.
