Berulo UP is a long-term education and economic empowerment program implemented through the Berulo App, designed to accompany the school community throughout the twelve years of basic and secondary education. The program integrates education, financial inclusion, and social protection to ensure that learners remain in school while building a sustainable future.
Through the Berulo App, schools are supported to establish productive income-generating activities, such as livestock projects or other sustainable ventures capable of producing continuous returns. These assets belong to the school community and are managed transparently through the app, which monitors production, revenue, and benefit distribution.
The income generated is strategically allocated to support different members of the school community — from learners and teachers to school leadership — creating a self-sustaining ecosystem of educational and economic growth.

Health insurance (Mutuelle de Santé), school feeding contributions, and long-term savings accounts created under their profile in the Berulo App. These services are designed to continue forward, so benefits persist over time and allow others in the school community to also gain from them.
